The Fuse Location

When you are stripping wire if the wire is slipping to the side it is normally not at the correct angle. We have a great setup video to stop the slipping of wire and you can find it by clicking this link.
Maintenance
To ensure smooth operation of your StripMeister E250 we recommend a maintenance of the following:
Make sure the machine is unplugged before performing any maintenance
1. Check oil level on the gear box monthly.
Before checking the oil, make sure the gear box is not hot. If oil is visible when the screw is removed from Oil filler hole on the gear box, the unit is still full. If not visible top up with manufacturers recommended gear oil (ISO VG320 or Petro of China CN320) until full.
For gear oil visit website:
http://www.pdblowers.com/pr91-roots-synthetic-lubricant-iso-vg-320-quart.php
2. Inspect blade for damage
3. Inspect and clean Feeder Drive of dirt and debris
4. Inspect whole machine for any loose parts
All of our machines come ready to use out of the box. Unpack your StripMeister and plug it in and begin stripping.
We only use one type of grease on our StripMeister machines and the grease can be found at any local hardware store. The type of grease we use is a general purpose white grease that is low odor, non staining, NLGI grade 2 grease.
We recommend using the provided hardware to fasten your StripMeister to a work bench or table.
Cat 5, Cat 5 and telephone wire are normally 22 and 20 gauge wire making it too small for the StripMeister E250 to strip. The smallest wire size the StripMeister E250 can do is #18 gauge wire.
The StripMeister E250 blade is CNC machined.
The StripMeister E250’s blade is made from heat treated and hardened tool steel for unbeatable quality.
With free shipping, we utilize a network of carriers to get your StripMeister the quickest to your location. You should receive your StripMeister E250 within 5 to 7 business days.
The StripMeister E250 can run on 220 Volts without any other needed configuration from StripMeister. Because the plug is regularly different for 220 volts you will need an adapter for the StripMeister.
The StripMeister E250 runs off any standard 110/120V household outlet.

I bought an E250 and glad I did. It plugs in 110v outlet and makes stripping wire easy. I have gone through almost a full 44 gallon Brute trash can full of romex and then going back to strip the smaller wire. My money will be made back quick with this machine. I also bought the extra cutting wheel which I have yet to use. I thought I might need it with going through that much wire but it seems to be holding up with the original wheel.
There is a small learning curve or more of a feel for the grabbing and stripping of the wire. Once set, you can fly and get things stripped fast. I find it works better with having straighter cables going through and also guiding it in and out. Small effort for less headache in tangles.
I am also able to take off the cutting part if needed to mount and use with a drill if there is no power.

Money well spent here. I did a lot of research and found this to be well worth the money. Don’t waste your money on Amazon wire strippers. I’ve stripped over a mile of wire with this and it cuts the jackets like the first day of use. I even put quite a bit of 450 mcm through it and it was an amazing clean cut. I have a few journeymen friends and they’re trying to borrow it now.

I had to strip two thousand, four hundred feet of #4/0 cable (1-1/4 diameter power cable). The E1000 stripped it all without failure. It did the entire job without having to use the extra blade I purchased. It could probably use a little extra guide for introducing larger cables into the blade, but it worked, nonetheless. It works the way it shows on the demonstration videos.

Bought it strip I t wires , did not work on insulated wires the insulation just stop forward motion, The unit needs a reverse mode switch to back up wire instead of having to raise blade and reset just to have the same results , frustrating. Solid wires no problem, telephone type wires no go, too small of wire for machine.

I bought this for my wife. She loves it. She has no problem stripping wire I bring home from work. Really easy to use.
